Cat Haven Kitten Shower

We are hosting our first Kitten Shower at the PetSmart in the Siegen Lane Marketplace Saturday, the 29th, from 10am to 4pm. We will have lots of furry little faces looking for homes. Some of our kittiens will be "Celebrity Kittens" for the day including Kip, Smiley, Les Miles, LeDuff, and Murphy, Sam & Jodi. We will also have a bottle-feed donation station set up with donation cards that will include a list of some items that can be purchased from PetSmart that we need to help care for our newborn kittens.

PetSmart Spring Adoptathon - May 1st & 2nd

Cat Haven is excited to participate in PetSmart's Spring Adoptathon taking place on Saturday, May 1st from 10am - 4pm and Sunday, May 2nd from 12pm - 4pm. We will be at both the PetSmart Siegen Ln and Airline Hwy locations with many furry felines waiting to find their forever home. There will be fun activites for the kids and some great door prizes. Come out and see what all the purrrcitement is about!

Earth Day 2010

Cat Haven participated in Earth Day 2010. It was our first year to attend this event and we were so excited to be a part of such a wonderful Baton Rouge community event. Lots of people came by our booth and learned about our programs including adoptions and spay/neuter. We want to thank Cindy Madere for pulling together such a wonderful display for our tent as well as all of the volunteers who helped make this possible!

Cat Haven Garage Sale

Our Spring garage sale was a huge success raising over $1,700 for our spay/neuter efforts! Thanks to everyone for their donations and our volunteers who made this happen. We would also like to extend a big thank you to Cindy Madere who coordinated this event for Cat Haven. All items that were not sold at the garage sale were taken to Here Today Gone Tomorrow on Burbank Dr. There they will be sold and Cat Haven will receive a portion of the proceeds. You can donate any of your wanted items to HTGT throughout the year. Just tell them it's for Cat Haven.
