We Have Kittens Galore!
Cat Haven currently has over 70 kittens in our program available for adoption. Every face is different, but all are fuzzy, cute and playful! Visit our Adopt page to see some of these adorable kittens that desperately need a home!
Cat Haven is going to the Roller Derby!
Red Stick Roller Derby has graciously invited Cat Haven to be their sponsored charity for their June bout. The event is celebrating Adopt A Shelter Cat month and is themed "Cat Fight Fever". The Red Stick girls will face off against the Southern Misfits. Doors open at 6pm with the bout starting at 7pm. Cat Haven will be there with an exhibition booth and a portion of the ticket sales go to our group. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster and The River Center Box Office. Kitten Shower 2010
Cat Haven held it's first annual Kitten Shower at the PetSmart Siegen Ln location on May 29th. We had so much support from the community and lots of people came out to see our baby kittens. Thanks to our Baton Rouge Celebrities Muphy, Sam & Jodi, Chief LeDuff, Smiley Anders, Les Miles and Kip Holden. They were "Celebrity Kittens" for the day and a huge thanks to Chief LeDuff who came out with his daughter to visit his namesake kitten (see picture below).
Cat Haven wants to thank Stewart Ross, manager of Orvis Perkins Rowe, for hosting a Pet Adoption event on May 22nd. Rescue groups included Cat Haven,
Hokie's Hounds, East Baton Rouge Animal Control and It's a Grey Area Greyhound Adoptions. We had a great time! Thanks to Stewart and Orvis!!
